She has her notebook open and
fiddles with the edge of the page,
glancing down every so often,
trying not to blow her cover.

They laugh at little things
they do not find funny,
looking into each other's eyes
fearfully.
They want to reach out, connect
and share information marked Confidential,
but they won't.
They are busy tapping on each other's walls
in search of hollow spots.

They have been well trained.
