I've just updated the site (upgraded from Joomla 1.0.x to 1.5.x) and in doing so incorporated a slight refresh on the look and feel, keeping it quite similar to the previous incarnation. This site has always been a bit of a random place where I sporadically post things that friends or family may be interested in, and I don't have the time to develop another theme completely from scratch -- I'll leave the time I do have to play with my new portfolio site design and other freelance work. My portfolio site is running Drupal and this site is running Joomla so that I can be sure to keep up to date with each project for future web development projects. I have used as a basis of this refresh the Novus template from RocketTheme -- one which I have used previously as a basis for a few pro bono sites I've helped with. Novus is a new FREE Joomla template released under the GNU/GPL license. Novus features a clean and professional design that is incredibly lightweight and fast loading. Novus is a perfect template for any professional or business based website and includes a multitude of features including a tableless fully CSS layout, built in Splitmenu, 11 module positions, Adobe Fireworks Source PNG file for making your own graphic modifications, cross browser compatibility, and much more. You can find the original files for RocketTheme's Novus here, in case you're interested: http://www.rockettheme.com/joomla-downloads/folder/114-novus
