I've been gathering a bunch of Pete Rollins video in my "to watch" list from my RSS feeds and I thought I'd gather them all here. I've mentioned him before in these posts:
Here are a collection of video with short intro sentences where I could find them. From The Work of the People:"Peter Rollins spends much of my time as a writer, public speaker, lecturer and co-ordinator of the experimental collective Ikon (www.ikon.org.uk ). Together these diverse activities ensure he has the privilege of engaging in that difficult job of marrying activism with theory, the public square with the academy. A difficult marriage no doubt, but one which continues to provide a context for revolutionary action to be born." (link) 1. "The Singular Answer: A parable to have us consider the reductionism of the Gospel." 2. Set Apart: Pete Rollins "talks about trying to grasp God to fit into our own boxes." 3. $200 conversions: Pete Rollins "wonders if God creates the "God shaped hole" rather than filling it. " 4. Suspended space: Pete Rollins "considers the heart of church and the liturgical hour." 5. Reduce or Wrestle: "An ancient Jewish parable about wrestling with scripture." 6. Refusing to Lead: "Thoughts on Christian leadership." Pete Rollins reads from The Orthodox Heretic and other impossible tales:1. Parable: “No Conviction” 2. Parable: “The Third Mile” 3. Parable: “The Orthodox Heretic” Pete Rollins talks with Phyllis Tickle and Brian McLaren:1. Phyllis Tickle and Peter Rollins Discuss Emergence Christianity, Part 1 2.
