flowers-for-algernonIntriguing concept and interesting to read. I appreciate what he was trying to do and enjoyed the first section quite a bit as Charlie is writing his "progris riports" and the experiment which will transform him from a person with an IQ of 68 into a genius is beginning to kick in, but he didn't sell me on the super-intelligent Charlie. There were a number of sections where dialogue and voice felt a little clunky and didn't quite work for me -- which may be partly because this book is from almost fifty years ago.

Find this book at Abebooks.
